Desired Effect, an operator-founded cybersecurity company, engages Intake Media for message development and copywriting to support go-to-market activities as the company emerges from stealth mode and claims rightful positioning in a new category. After collaborating on foundational brand work ahead of the company’s launch at RSA that stood up the company’s website, manifesto, media training, and collateral, Intake Media moved into a recurring role to create video and blog content, as well as ongoing message iteration.

Intake Media supported launch and ongoing message iteration, from launch out of stealth mode at a key industry conference to ongoing support as the company educates the market.

Messaging & Website:

Intake Media collaborated with the founder to iterate on messaging and copy for the company website and video application to a major innovation competition. 

Thought Leadership:

Intake Media supported the creation of the company’s manifesto and initial blog posts Process included conducting “interviews” with the founder and key team members, as well as iterating on drafts.

Media Training:

Working with the founder and key team members, Intake Media facilitated preparation for interviews with major industry publications during RSA, and developed key collateral to distribute during the conference to support the company’s launch from stealth.

Outcomes:

Desired Effect launched from stealth at RSA with a fully-operational brand presence and distinct positioning.

Successful media engagements at RSA netted placement in major publications.

Through collaboration video scripts, Desired Effect executed multiple submissions to major industry innovation competitions, with content that was repurposed to elevate the brand and market presence.
